ABOUT PATRICIA A. HENSLEY, CFE
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Patricia Hensley has over 30 years of public and private sector experience. She began her career with Peter M. Vito & Associates, Inc., as an administrative assistant in 1990. In 1994, while studying Criminal Justice at Buffalo State College, she applied and was selected for a co-op position with the United States Customs Service. When Patricia graduated from Buffalo State College in 1995, she accepted a full-time position with the United States Customs Service as an Inspector. During her tenure with the government, she was promoted to Senior Inspector, and selected for the Contraband Enforcement Team, she also was an Interest Based Negotiator and a National Treasury Enforcement Union Steward.
In 2004, she returned to Peter M. Vito & Associates, Inc., and was named Chief Operating Officer. She specializes in complex background investigations, corporate litigation and fraud cases.
In 2018, Patricia Hensley earned her Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Credential from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She is the only female private investigator in Upstate New York that has been accredited,
Patricia Hensley graduated from Buffalo State College in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Immediately after her graduation she attended the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center graduating in December of 1995. She has attended numerous classes in interview and interrogation, drug interdiction, human resources, grant writing, and verbal judo.
Patricia currently serves on the board of Crime Stoppers WNY and previously served on the board of ASIS. She is a current member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Western New York Certified Fraud Examiners.
